Fall Convocation 2026: Exceptional by Design

11 a.m.–12:30 p.m. – Employee Appreciation Event

Location: Rockville Campus, Parilla Performing Arts Center and Becker Family Quad. In-person attendance is encouraged, though we will also livestream the Convocation on this webpage.

This year's Convocation will highlight the College's progress toward its Strategic Plan goals and Transformational Aspirations while looking ahead to new opportunities, including preparation for the 2027 Middle States reaccreditation visit. Through student stories, institutional achievements, and strategic initiative spotlights, the program will explore a central question: What makes Montgomery College exceptional?

Attendees will hear how faculty, staff, and administrators across the College are working together to create exceptional educational experiences that help students discover their passions, unlock their potential, and achieve extraordinary outcomes.

Following Convocation, employees are invited to the Exceptional Together appreciation event, a celebration of community, connection, and the shared commitment that makes Montgomery College an exceptional place to learn and work.

All employees are welcome and encouraged to attend, however all offices will need to stay open, and there will be no suspension of services. Supervisors should coordinate schedules to ensure that essential services are maintained.
