Montgomery College is excited to now offer a Maryland State Department of Health approved Community Health Worker Certificate! This certificate combines four Health Science courses (HLTH 105, HLTH 160, HLTH 225, and HLTH 298) with a 40-hour practicum at Holy Cross Hospital. At completion of this program, the participants will be qualified for and assisted in applying for a Maryland State Community Health Worker Certification.

The HE/ES/PE department was pleased to receive a visit from Montgomery County Council member Gabe Albornoz during Prof. Michael Clark’s Principles and Practices of Health-Related Fitness class.
